Current research activity


• Space-time boundary integral equation formulations and numerical solution of elastic wave propagation problems in bounded and unbounded domains.

• Energetic weak formulations of space-time boundary integral equations.

• BEM-FEM coupling for time-dependent problems on multidomains.

• Construction of efficient computational schemes for the numerical integration of weakly, strongly and hyper-singular integrals with convolutive time-dependent kernels.

• Analysis of suitable algorithms for computational cost reduction in the resolution of problems having even partial symmetry properties.

• Development of prototype specialized software for numerical testing all the above mentioned numerical techniques.
